To Plan or Not to Plan

I went away for a two week excursion/vacation with some friends. I would admit, if it's not because of this friend who took the pain to plan and do researches for the places we would be going, the holidays would be in vain.

Yes, it is true not everyone would be pleased with what were planned, but at least there would be somewhere to go and something to be done if a plan went awry. Therefore, I was grateful with her careful and detailed planning.

Life needs to be planned carefully too. We are going to an unknown journey with more than ten years ahead. If we just walk on unplanned, we will end up nowhere, without any destination to be sure. It's just like sailing on a ship guided by the wind.

For some people, unknown journeys are adventures. Yet the truth is ... these journeys are a waste of time and effort. We all have limited time on Earth, to live as we want. We do not know when the time is up or when we would face another misadventure. We don't want to end up as disappointments to our family and friends, do we?

It doesn't take long to plan. Planning for every day is the first step to plan for tomorrow. There will always be new things to be discovered, new lessons to be learnt and new people to be met. Everything is up to us... to you; how you want your life to be ....

A good planning takes you a long way .... even though you have only 24 hours a day!
